The PATH environment variable is currently overwritten if a user provides an environment. This will cause significant frustration/confusion from users.
It would be good to try and match at least the default PATH so that people are less confused. It may also be a slurm REST configuration, or something we are missing in the Job Request spec ( the one that goes to slurmrestd).
