Don't use multiline YAML strings for descriptions

Just a tiny note (more for myself than anything) that, while this is valid YAML and my format preference, many tools don't respect multiline YAML strings and I've recently decided it's not worth the effort. I'll likely open a separate issue to adjust this throughout the repo, but in the future I think it's best to put this all on one line.
