Hi All. I developed a simple little X11 application to generate a crosshair that follows your cursor. This sort of feature is great for productivity and accessibility applications. Due to it's application to improve accessibility, I am hoping to get it (or something like it) included in the accessibility tools, so that people with poor vision can get it turned on with ease. Windows already has this feature as part of PowerToys. As far as I know my implementation is the only one that is available for Linux (that's why I made it). Since Cinnamon uses X11, and is one of the most user friendly environments, it seems like Linux Mint is the right fit for such a tool.
How would I go about getting this included? I tried including it as an applet, but it was rejected for requiring compiled code.
Is there someone in charge of accessibility on the LinuxMint team, whom I could chat with about this idea?
