Course Outline: Make sections/subsections/units selectable

Spec

• Make section cards selectable.
• Make subsection cards selectable.
• Make units cards selectable.
• When selected, the Sections and Subsections expand by default.
• Click range for the expand button is around the expand icon (highlighted in brown above). Clicking the expand button does not select the block [to confirm: clicking title will no longer expand/collapse block]
• The library indicator chip is also click-able in certain states. Clicking this icon should not select the block.
• On hover, the edit icon for editing the block title should appear and be clickable. The click range for the edit action should be the edit icon. Clicking edit should not select the block.
• The edit icon should be aligned next to the title
• Drag handle and overflow menu should not select the block
• Clicking anywhere else in the block should select it.

Adding additional detail on click ranges. I want to confirm a few details, but wanted to share some more here:

@ChrisChV One more requirement:

• Sidebar state should be remembered, as in: if a section is selected with the info sidebar, settings tab open, if a user clicks a unit, the unit info, settings sidebar should open.

Hi @edschema, one question: Is there any other action that makes the container card selected? For example, when you click on its manage tags menu and open the align sidebar, is the card selected?
