Specs

• Depends on the implemented in:
  • Course Outline: Info Sidebar & Navbar - Basics #2623
  • Course Outline: Make sections/subsections/units selectable #2665
• The sidebar opens when a container is clicked or newly created
• Sidebar Actions for Section, Subsection, and Unit includes a publish button
• The Unit sidebar accessed from the Course Outline page has two differences from the page level unit sidebar accessed when viewing a unit:
  • For the unit sidebar accessed from the course outline page, the actions area also has an "Open" button. This open button does not appear for the unit page unit sidebar
  • For the unit sidebar accessed from the course outline page, there is also a preview tab that renders a preview of the components contained within the Unit. This preview tab does NOT exist on the Unit page unit sidebar.
• Library referenced objects have a library reference card. Details for this card are contained within the sub-issue ticket.

@ChrisChV Hi Chris, the sidebar opens when a component is clicked or newly created. We'll be introducing selected states to the outline.

As a note: Units will also be selectable on the Outline page

@ChrisChV I think we need a placeholder story to make sections/subsections/units selectable on the course outline, unless you want to include that in this story.
