Wanted change

The ability to be able to increase the scaling of PCSX2 UI elements. On a 4k screen I can barely read the text.

Reason for change

To make the emulator more visible at higher resolutions

You have many options, but in the screen settings you can disable hiDPI (this just stetches the canvas clientside to your pixel ratio) pixelated

Or use the UI scaling, you need to close and right click the desktop open it again for UI scaling changes to take or restart the container.
Goes from 100%-300% most stuff is 200% on 4k.

I tried adjust 100-300% and PSCX2 nothing changed, however the cursor size did, that is what led me to open this request.

Did you close and reopen the program that is the crucial step here. Not trying to be to literal but I need this answered as it is required.
You exit the program and the background is an openbox session, you right click that and you can launch apps like pcsx2. After changing the scale you close and reopen the program or restart the container with /config mounted to something so the setting sticks. UI scaling in Linux is not applied immediately it is a setting programs read at startup.

I did restart the docker container after adjusting the DPI. If I disable hidpi mode it will stretch but then it is blurry.

Okay - so if I change the DPI, close pcsx2, and relaunch it from right clicking the desktop then it works. However, setting the DPI, restarting the container it does not stick, even though it shows the higher DPI when you expand the menu on the left.

I just forgot to commit it, it got lost after testing.
Will be fixed tomorrow but will take a bit to waterfall to the image.

Anyone else confused about scaling.

Though I can say even with nvenc 4k is pushing it probably only get 30 fps at that res reliably, This is all a no perm solution that is part of the core premise and as such it uses a virtual framebuffer, everything else in this class of true remote gaming does everything on GPU which is nice but requires heavy privs and in some cases specific host packages and configuration outside of just the nvidia runtime. at this stage of development I am calling 4k a productivity mode, gigablast gaming is 2k and below. But I got some local demos I have been waiting to apply to break up the pixel capture and speed it up so hopefully soon, stable 4k 60fps low latency has always been the goal.

Sorry forgot to update this is in the image now and in all the bases so it will eventually waterfall to all of them. If you pull the latest one your stuff will be there on container restart and stuff like openbox will also scale its UI elements as it has been restarted.
I forgot the image changes when I implemented the feature, local dev container ran xrdb on init.
