[Feature request] Variable refresh rate setting

Currently, Cinnamon offers no way to activate variable refresh rate functionality from within the desktop. This makes VRR effectively unusable under Wayland on Nvidia cards at least, as nvidia-settings can't control this except under X11.

I tried using gsettings to turn this on, but it seemingly had no effect.

This does not just affect Wayland; currently, the only way to activate VRR on systems with hybrid Nvidia graphics is to disable the iGPU entirely, as nvidia-settings can't control VRR otherwise, even in X11.
