Creating a 'Performance' profile in Cinnamon
It has been introduced by default also in Gnome, so why doesn't Cinnamon use it yet??
Performance would also prevent annoying slowdowns during animations that can be tiresome... years ago Cinnamon started off well, releasing constant and gradual upgrades, but the added value has been lost over time... in fact, the system seems to have always relied more and more on third-party repositories, which it depends on so as not to have to handle the task of maintaining and verifying software, which nowadays is considered increasingly important and a priority!!!
