Laptop touch-pad does not work (does not wake up) on logging in after laptop lid closed (suspend).
This seems to happen only after the lid is closed for longer time (hour? or more).
Workaround is to use keyboard to Log Out and login again or to use the steps described two years ago here:

Steps to reproduce
Close your laptop's lid and wait for an hour or possibly more. Open the lid, type the password to login. Observe touch-pad not working.
Expected behavior
Touch-pad works every time user logs in.
