The in-game map in Alien vs Predator doesn't render correctly. You can see some of it render in the top-right corner of the fast blitter OFF screenshot, but even then it isn't centered on the player dot.
Maybe there could be a core option added "AvP map hack" (like "DOOM res hack") to fix it
To test it, turn on the in-game map with numpad 8 on the jaguar controller. It's best to pick the colonial marine character so you don't get attacked at the start
