Image Distortion in High-Resolution Mode on Kang Fu

Some scenes in Kang Fu (using high-resolution mode) exhibit image distortion.
For example, the GREED logo scene and the title screen.
The most noticeable issue is the distortion of displayed text strings.
Line Mode is set to Auto.
I tried both options for Remove Interlace Artifacts, but there was no change.
Remove Interlace Artifacts=Disable

Remove Interlace Artifacts=Enable

For reference, I've attached a screenshot of the same scene captured in WinUAE 6.0.1.
(Line Mode is Double, Interlaced Line Mode is Double Field)

The display on the actual hardware is similar to how it appears in WinUAE.
Is a fix possible?

The comparison should be between the same 5.3.0 version and with exact same settings to see if the core really is to blame, or if it is just an emulator issue. And the only difference seems to be the odd shift in the interlaced company logo, and that is something the "remove interlace artifacts" is not even supposed to remove. It is for subtle things like mouse cursor.

Confirmed with WinUAE 5.3.0.
The output was identical to the Libretro core.
This appears to be an issue that was fixed in 5.3.1 and later.
Does that mean this problem is unfixable?

Why would it ever be unfixable when it will fix itself once the core is updated to 6.0.1 at least.. No idea yet if it is worth the trouble or not to fix only that thing from 5.3.1 then.

I'm sorry.
I mistakenly believed there were no plans to update to 6.0.1.
I will keep this issue open.

I tried updating the codebase to 5.3.1 since it was relatively simple and conflict free, but it did not fix the issue..
