Description
All good with you ?
Thanks for reading my topic.
Unhappily about controller input Retroarch's devs priority is avoid latency and automatic controller configuration. Oh yes both are good features, but has another details missing in Retroarch being used in others emulators for long years being configure an button for combo buttons and autofire for any button. Retroarch's devs reply saying autofire is controlled by core and not the Retroarch main input core. For the viewpoint of user is much strange it because is much more simple the emulator input core controlling the autofire than an core driver. MAME and others emulatores does both features.
Thus being I need use AntimicroX if need play an Retroarch core not allowing autofire and combo buttons. AntimicroX fix that issue.
I use an PS4 DS4 controller. The touchpad button is configured for close game returning to Retroarch main GUI and PS button to hotkey "menu toggle".
In AntimicroX the PS button does and keyboard key being needing for others emulators.
That topic is about requesting help to Retroarch go back allowing use hotkey "menu toggle" if is pressed another hotkey or keyboard key at same time as was possbile in previous builds.
