- Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
- Being respectful of differing opinions, viewpoints, and experiences

- Accepting responsibility and apologizing for mistakes, and learning from them
- Focusing on what is best for the community
- The use of sexualized language or imagery, and sexual attention or advances of any kind
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks
- Public or private harassment
- Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards of acceptable behavior and will take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior deemed inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
Community leaders have the right and responsibility to:
- Remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, or other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct
- Communicate reasons for moderation decisions when appropriate
This Code of Conduct applies within all community spaces and also applies when an individual is officially representing the community in public spaces.
Examples of representing the community include:
- Using an official project email address
- Posting via official social media accounts
- Acting as an appointed representative at events
Instances of unacceptable behavior may be reported to the community leaders at:
All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter.
Community leaders will follow these Community Impact Guidelines when determining consequences:
Impact: Use of inappropriate language or unprofessional behavior.
Consequence: A private warning explaining the violation. A public apology may be requested.
Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.
Consequence: A formal warning with consequences for continued behavior, such as limited interaction.
Impact: A serious violation of community standards.
Consequence: A temporary ban from community interaction for a specified period.
Impact: Repeated or severe violations of community standards.
Consequence: A permanent ban from all community interaction.
