Analytic Model Sharing Across Spaces Does Not Work as Documented #68

Description

Issue description

According to the official documentation of SAP Datasphere, analytic models can be shared across spaces so that users in other spaces can consume them as sources for new analytic models. However, this functionality does not work as described.

Expected Behavior

  • An analytic model that is deployed and shared to another space should be visible and usable in the target space.
  • Users assigned to the target space, with the required privileges (for example via the DW Modeler role template), should be able to:
    -See the shared analytic model
-Use it as a source for another analytic model
  • All underlying entities are already shared beforehand, as required by the documentation.

Actual Behavior

  • The Share button/action is greyed out / disabled for the analytic model.
  • As a result, it is not possible to open the Share dialog and not possible to share the analytic model to any space (even though the model is deployed).

Impact

This prevents cross-space reuse of analytic models and blocks intended collaborative and modular modeling scenarios across spaces.
