feat: Add settings cog to merge button and improve configuration panel integration

Integrated a settings cog (⚙️) into the merge button to open the configuration panel.
Removed the standalone settings button for a cleaner UI.
Ensured the cog icon does not trigger the merge button's click event.
Improved user experience by consolidating settings access directly into the merge button.
