In this first tutorial, learn how to create a workspace to support the other tutorials in the series.
In this task, learn how to create a workspace. A workspace contains the items needed for data warehousing and can include Data Factory pipelines, the data warehouse, Power BI semantic models, and reports.

Sign in to Power BI.

From the navigation pane, select Workspaces, and then select + New workspace.

In the Create a workspace pane, in the Name box, enter

Expand the Advanced section.

Choose either the Fabric capacity or Fabric Trial workspace type.

In the Capacity dropdown list, choose a premium capacity you have access to.

Select Apply to create and open the new workspace.
Note
Ensure that you use this workspace to complete all tutorials in this series.
