Just wanted to add;
Scripts are working as expected on a VIP account, but won't bypass the V3, for a non VIP setup.

So if the V3 bypass can be fixed I'd be extremely greatfull!

Edit is there a way I could manually create the API app (for the non vip) by copying the Java from my setup (and working) VIP acc. and then somehow link the newly created (non vip) app, to the v3 script?

I wrongly assumed the V3-V2 redirect was part of the Mega.
Once I installed the redirect script (in addition) all is working as intended

Having never used the scripts alongside a non-VIP account, I (wrongly) assumed that the redirect script was part of the Mega-Script package.

After installing the V3-V2-redirect script in addition, it is (in fact) working as intended

It works a little better then script for me. Doesn't redirect you from "enter code" page

It's working, it's a issue on your end, delete cookies it will work, just try on another browser where you didn't have any Trakt cookies/cache but it works on Chromium based ones (I tried on Thorium, Chrome, Edge and Brave)

I don't use Chromium based browsers, I use Waterfox and Firefox. No mention is made that the script should only work for Chromium.

EDIT: Verified not functioning by using a Private instance (no cookies or cache), with Tampermonkey as the ONLY extension active, and it still does not redirect to the old site.

Can you perhaps now acknowledge that simply because you don't experience this issue does not mean it can't exist for others?

Works on Firefox, and you don't need to be rude, it's not Twitter here...

Waterfox too, if you have any cache I don't see what can make break the script, tbh the extension works better than the script since it doesn't require the code for a new device everytime it's faster, and it's for firefox too here : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/force-trakt-v2-old-interface/

I am not interested in Twitter style arguments; I am interested in fixing a functional regression. To be clear: I tested this in a clean profile with zero cache and zero other extensions. This specifically excludes cookies/cache as a variable, so bringing them up again is redundant.

If a script requires specific, unlisted browser configurations to function, that is a bug, not 'user error'. We have all been on the receiving end of a 'works on my machine' dismissal at some point and know it is never a valid substitute for actual troubleshooting. Since the script is failing to redirect on Gecko based browsers despite a clean environment, the issue remains valid regardless of your personal experience with it.

EDIT:

The issue is now resolved for me, and as I figured, it had zero to do with cookies or cache.

What happened is that the script was failing on Gecko (Waterfox) due to a race condition where the site's native scripts were outrunning the userscript. Chromium defaults to a faster injection timing, which is why it works there with default Tampermonkey settings, but Waterfox requires Tampermonkey's 'Instant' Inject Mode to fire in time.

Testing in a clean environment was what allowed me to isolate this timing regression. Glad to have it working without needing the extra extension.
